Episode 1: Attacking village or defensive village
OFFENSIVE/ATTACKING VILLAGE
Buildings
Village Headquarters (Level 20)
Barracks (Level 25)
Stable (Level 20)
Workshop (Level 15)
Academy (Level 1)
Smithy (Level 20)
Rally point (Level 1)
Market (Level 10)
Timber camp (Level 30)
Clay pit (Level 30)
Iron mine (Level 30)
Farm (Level 30)
Warehouse (Level 30)
Hiding place (Level 0) no need for if you have maxed resources
Wall (Level 20)
Simply put this is the strongest your villages should ever be at;
Troops
8000 Axemen
4000 Light cavalry
200 Ram /200 cats
You need to mix your offence as much as you need to mix your defence like this, the reasons:
Axeman are good against Spear
Light Cav are good against Sword/Heavy Cavalry
Rams Provide that extra cover whilst also taking down that all important wall 200 is the max amount of Rams you will ever need.
Plus if your army is wiped out it only takes around 12 days to rebuild.
DEFENSIVE VILLAGE
Village Headquarters (Level 20)
Barracks (Level 25)
Stable (Level 20) [Reduce to Level 10 once population limit is reached]
Workshop (Do not construct)
Academy (Level 1)
Smithy (Level 15)
Rally point (Level 1)
Market (Level 20) [Gives you 110 Merchants]
Timber camp (Level 30)
Clay pit (Level 30)
Iron mine (Level 30)
Farm (Level 30)
Warehouse (Level 30)
Hiding place (not constructed)
Wall (Level 20)
6500 Spears
7000 Swords
Once you start getting plenty of villages, 15+ you can start to work on villages solely for production of one or two types of troops.
The biggest failure I commonly see in another world, is players building 12,355 point villages, working purely on score, and ignoring troop levels.
So consider carefully when building or down grading villages, do you really need another academy? Look closely at what the village is to be used for, I see too many people with defensive villages with workshops, why? You're wasting space that might be the difference to your very survival in this game.
If you only got 1 village, Start it with balance, but more important is your defence.
